CEO and Managing Partner
Nick initially formed Conifer to invest his personal and family capital towards an investment strategy he developed over the course of nearly two decades of investing in and operating energy and related businesses. It has since expanded to include a select number of investment partners.
Prior to Conifer, Nick was the Founder and CEO of Archaea Energy Inc. (NYSE: LFG). He led the company from its inception as a two-person concept to its position as the largest renewable natural gas (RNG) producer in the United States.
Under his leadership, Archaea:
Scaled from a startup to over 500 employees.
Developed a portfolio of 50 biogas facilities with 80 additional projects in the pipeline.
Successfully executed a complex merger with Aria Energy (an Ares portfolio company) via a SPAC (NYSE: RICE).
Was acquired by BP for $4.1 Billion in December 2022.
Beyond Archaea, Nick’s track record includes significant leadership in the waste and traditional energy sectors. He is the Co-founder and former CFO of Noble Environmental, an industry-leading waste service provider in Appalachia. Prior to Noble Environmental, Nick served as a Principal with Baleen Capital Management, a global value investment firm led by Fang Li. Prior to Baleen Capital, Nick worked in corporate finance and development at Three Rivers Natural Resources and was a member of the team that sold the Three Rivers Natural Resources’ first Permian Basin platform to Concho Resources Inc. for $1 billion.

CFO and Partner
Bryce serves as Chief Financial Officer and Partner at Conifer, where he oversees fund-level financial strategy and institutional reporting. Beyond his role at the firm, he is responsible for architecting the financial infrastructure and reporting processes for Conifer’s portfolio companies, ensuring each platform operates with the transparency and rigor required for scale.
Prior to Conifer, Bryce served as Vice President of Finance at Archaea Energy (NYSE: LFG) and subsequently at BP following the acquisition. As a key executive at Archaea, he was responsible for the firm's most critical financial pillars, leading the FP&A, Corporate Development, Tax, and Treasury functions.
Bryce’s career is built on a foundation of high-stakes financial advisory at world-class firms AlixPartners and Alvarez & Marsal. He specialized in large-scale corporate restructurings within the energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Bryce is a graduate of Yale College with a B.A. in Economics and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Partner
Pamela is a Partner at Conifer, where she oversees capital allocation and portfolio company development with a specific focus on corporate strategy. She leads the firm’s most critical financial activities, including strategic acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and the rigorous due diligence required for large-scale capital deployment.
Prior to joining Conifer, Pamela served as Vice President at Archaea Energy (NYSE: LFG). As a key member of the executive leadership team, she was instrumental in the financial and strategic milestones that defined the company’s trajectory.
Her leadership at Archaea included:
Joint Venture Leadership: Pamela co-led the Lightning Renewables joint venture with Republic Services, directing the strategic development of 40 renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities. This partnership remains one of the largest and most significant infrastructure initiatives in the sector.
Corporate Development: She worked directly with the CEO and executive suite to architect and execute complex initiatives, including multi-billion dollar acquisitions and the structuring of the firm’s debt and equity instruments.
Pamela began her career in the Power, Energy & Infrastructure group at Lazard. During her tenure in investment banking, she specialized in complex M&A transactions.
Pamela is a graduate of Emory University, where she earned a BBA in Finance and Accounting.

Kristen is a Partner at Conifer, where she leads portfolio company operations and strategic development. She serves as a vital link between investment vision and operational execution, working closely with management teams to optimize performance, scale infrastructure, and drive long-term value creation across the firm’s platforms.
Prior to Conifer, Kristen served as Vice President at Archaea Energy (NYSE: LFG).
Her key leadership roles included:
Joint Venture Oversight: Kristen co-managed the Lightning Renewables joint venture, a landmark partnership with Republic Services (one of the largest waste providers in the U.S.). In this role, she provided strategic and operational oversight for the development of 40 renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities—a massive undertaking that solidified Archaea’s position as an industry leader.
Operational Optimization: Before her role as Vice President, Kristen served as Director of Operations Performance. She spearheaded the firm's "Operations Optimization" initiative, designing the frameworks and performance metrics that allowed Archaea to maintain efficiency during its period of hyper-growth.
Kristen’s expertise in large-scale operations is built on a foundation of heavy civil engineering. She began her career as a Civil Engineer at Norfolk Southern Railway (NYSE: NSC), where she managed critical infrastructure projects for one of the nation’s premier transportation networks. This experience in Class I rail infrastructure provided her with a "boots-on-the-ground" understanding of structural design, logistics, safety, and complex project management.
Kristen is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering.

Michael serves as a Partner at Conifer, where he leads the firm’s commercial strategy and project development initiatives. He specializes in the origination and structural de-risking of infrastructure projects, ensuring that development pipelines are backed by long-term revenue certainty and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Conifer, Michael was the Director of Business Development & Strategy at Archaea Energy (NYSE: LFG). During Archaea’s rapid expansion, Michael was instrumental in scaling the company’s asset base.
His key contributions included:
Origination: Spearheading the negotiation and execution of landfill gas development agreements with major municipalities and private counterparties.
Commercial Execution: Collaborating with commercial teams to source and structure high-value offtake agreements, a cornerstone of the firm’s ability to secure investment-grade cash flows.
Growth Initiatives: Driving the strategic analysis that informed the company’s capital deployment and project prioritization.
Before his tenure at Archaea, Michael served as a Senior Financial Analyst at Aramark Healthcare Investment Group. In this role, he focused on sophisticated financial modeling and investment analysis.
Michael earned a B.A. in Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Pennsylvania, with a minor in Data Analytics.

Controller
Jessica oversees portfolio and fund-level accounting at Conifer, ensuring institutional-grade financial integrity across the firm’s platforms. She brings extensive experience in navigating the complex regulatory and operational accounting requirements of the energy sector.
Prior to Conifer, Jessica held high-level leadership roles within premier Permian Basin energy companies. At Permian Resources (NYSE: PR), she managed various accounting functions, including operations and financial reporting for strategic joint venture partnerships.
Previously, she served as Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Operations Accounting at Concho Resources (later ConocoPhillips). Her tenure at these multi-billion dollar entities provided her with deep expertise in managing the financial complexities of high-growth infrastructure assets.
Jessica began her career at EY as a Senior Tax Accountant. She is a Licensed CPA in the state of Texas and holds both an MPA and a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Director, Strategic Initiatives
Daniel is a Director at Conifer, where he leads strategic initiatives and drives operational excellence across the firm’s portfolio companies, with a primary focus on M2X and HRI. He specializes in bridging the gap between high-level corporate strategy and site-level execution.
Prior to joining Conifer, Daniel spent a decade as a strategy consultant to the global energy and chemicals sectors. He held key roles at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Emerton, and ADL Ventures, where he advised senior leadership on complex market entries and operational transformations.
An entrepreneur at heart, Daniel has also built and operated two independent ventures:
LivCo Ventures: A strategic consultancy focused on industrial growth.
OnPoint Applications: A mobile technology firm where he managed the full lifecycle of software development and operations.
Daniel began his career at ExxonMobil, where he served as a lead engineer in new product development. He was responsible for steering technical innovations from initial concept through rigorous testing and final global commercialization.
Daniel holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Partner
Anna oversees investment evaluation and platform growth at Conifer, leveraging her background in engineering and operations. An entrepreneur and inventor, she brings a proven track record of identifying untapped market opportunities and scaling technical innovations.
Anna is the Co-Founder of LuminAID, a company that designs and develops solar lighting and power products for emergency use. Before LuminAID, light was rarely included in the standard distribution of disaster relief aid supplies. Anna led the strategic effort to build awareness of the vital role of illumination in emergency settings. Under her leadership, the company grew from a university concept to a global brand, distributing products across more than 100 countries and working with many of the largest NGOs.
Anna pitched on ABC’s Shark Tank, where she received offers from all five Sharks. Following the sweep, she led LuminAID as a key member of the Mark Cuban portfolio, proving that a mission-driven "double bottom-line" approach can drive—rather than sacrifice—extraordinary profitability and retail growth.
Anna’s expertise spans the full product lifecycle—from R&D and intellectual property strategy to international manufacturing and logistics. She holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a B.A. in Engineering from Dartmouth College.

Blair is a Partner at Conifer, where she leads the firm’s due diligence and evaluation of new investment opportunities. She focuses on energy storage, thermal energy, and advanced resource recovery, leveraging her deep technical expertise to bridge the gap between technological feasibility and financial viability.
Prior to Conifer, Blair served as the Regional Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) Principal at Archaea Energy (NYSE: LFG), architecting CCS solutions to manage the vast volumes of biogenic CO2 across the firm’s landfill gas assets. She led numerous CCS initiatives, including the development of the company’s carbon strategy, geologic evaluations for CCS feasibility, economic modeling, government compliance, and monetization pathways including tax credits (45Q), low carbon fuels markets, and voluntary markets.
Before joining Archaea, Blair worked as a Global Exploration Geologist and Basin Specialist at ConocoPhillips. She led cross-functional teams, delivering fully risked evaluations of exploration targets. Her technical focus involved modeling complex physical and chemical geologic systems to predict hydrocarbon accumulations.
Earlier in her career, Blair served at Kearney, a premier global management consulting firm. She supported corporate strategy, M&A, and supply chain logistics through advanced data analytics.
Blair holds a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from Stanford University and a B.A. in Environmental Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College.

Director of Engineering and R&D
Alec serves as the Director of Engineering and Research & Development at Conifer. He leads the firm’s technical innovation strategies and provides platform-wide engineering support for both development-stage and operational assets.
Prior to Conifer, Alec was the R&D Manager and Senior Gas Processing Engineer at Archaea Energy (NYSE: LFG).
His contributions at Archaea bridged the gap between the lab and the field, where he:
Advanced Technology: Developed proprietary gas processing solutions that increased yield and purity in renewable natural gas production.
Full-Lifecycle Support: Provided critical engineering oversight during the design, construction, and commissioning of numerous RNG facilities across the United States.
Operational Optimization: Collaborated with field teams to refine process controls and enhance the performance of active operational assets.
Alec holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Akron, with a specialized focus on Polymers and a minor in Applied Mathematics.
